Welcome to the Mchenry Pack 131 Website!

We are Cub Scout Pack 131! A youth development organization for K-5 Boys and Girls in Mchenry, IL 
We have scouts from Edgebrook, Hilltop, Riverwood, Valley View, & Landmark D15 schools.

Join us on the 1st Thursday of the month (Sept-May) 6:30PM @ First United Methodist Church in Mchenry, IL. 
Pack 131 is one of the oldest units in Mchenry County, incorporated June 1, 1953.
We are a very active unit with an emphasis on camping and community service. Monthly Pack hikes and great family events year-round!

Hi Parents of Pack 131, 

Our pack is growing and can not run without the help of parents! Even if it is something small like bringing something to the meetings, making calls to set up events or a larger commitment like becoming a Den Leader, we appreciate all the help :) 
 
We currently have some open positions in the pack and will have several openings within the next year. Every year in March the AOL den crosses the bridge and leaves the pack at the Blue and Gold ceremony, so we are hoping to fill the positions those Den leaders currently hold so there is a smooth transition within the pack. Many of these positions will need to have someone shadow the current person to ensure they get the support they need and get any questions answered before they take over. 
 
We are asking all Parents to complete the survey below to better understand what roles you would be interested in learning more about. This survey is not committing you to anything, but just to get some feelers out to see what interest people have.

Meet up at Parking lot with bikes - Ride to entrance of Glacier Park and back.  Ice cream as a reward.
