Welcome to the Mchenry Pack 131 Website!

We are Cub Scout Pack 131! A youth development organization for K-5 Boys and Girls in Mchenry, IL 
We have scouts from Edgebrook, Hilltop, Riverwood, Valley View, & Landmark D15 schools.

Join us on the 1st Thursday of the month (Sept-May) 6:30PM @ First United Methodist Church in Mchenry, IL. 
Pack 131 is one of the oldest units in Mchenry County, incorporated June 1, 1953.
We are a very active unit with an emphasis on camping and community service. Monthly Pack hikes and great family events year-round!

Popcorn Fundraiser

Get ready to sell some Popcorn! Fundraising material will be distributed at September Pack night, if you can not attend please reach out to your Den Leader to get the flyer. We will be discussing all things fundraising at this meeting and you don't want to miss it. 

We will be having 2 storefront sales to sign up for (Scouts will earn a portion of total sales towards their Vesting amount) a signup will be posted and emailed out after Pack night to sign up to run a shift. The dates are September 20th 9-3 and September 21st 10-4

Pack Camp out - Camp Tomo Chi-Chi Knolls

Cabin Camping 

We will be hiking and planning a few other activities. 

There are no cots provided so you will need to bring a sleeping pad, cot or air mattress unless you want to sleep directly on the floor. The cabin is heated but has no AC, there is a fridge/freezer and meals will be cooked at camp (Lunch, dinner & Cracker Barrel on Saturday and Breakfast on Sunday)
